How To Take and Edit Web Screenshots From Any Browser

When trying to communicate with your team about your website, it can sometimes be difficult or cumbersome to describe your comments with words alone. It's often much easier to understand if you use screenshots to help clarify your comments. Of course, taking screenshots and annotating them isn't easy without the right tools.

The best way I've found to do this is to install a free program called Awesome Screenshot. This program works as an add-on for Chrome, Safari or Firefox. Fireshot is a similar program that supports additional browsers. Both of these programs let you easily take screenshots of full webpages, not just the visible part on the screen. They also have additional annotation tools, which enable you to add notes and make other minor edits without any additional software.
