Fear is a four-letter word. Faith is not.
Just about 38 years to the month, two (relatively) young marketing professionals were working from home during a recession trying to start a new advertising and public relations agency. Were we afraid to operate a business in that environment? You bet. But we had faith. Faith in ourselves. Faith in our community. Faith in the future.
Although the circumstances today are much different, we once again find ourselves working from home under a cloud of uncertainty. The difference is that we are not alone. Likely you and your colleagues are also working from home, doing your part to help weather the storm and keep our community safe.
But we have our faith to provide us fortitude and the firm belief that soon the clouds will disperse and the future will again look bright.
It is in this spirit that we share these wishes with you, our clients, partners, friends and fellow citizens of this community we love. First and foremost, we pray for your good health. We thank you for your steadfast kindness and support. And we wish all the best for you and your loved ones during these challenging times.
Through these challenges, please know that we are here for you – available to help in any way we can. We welcome your questions, calls, text messages, emails, video chats. Whatever form of communication you need to use in lieu of face-to-face meetings – at least until we can again enjoy the presence of your company.
Until then, keep on keeping on. Or as the British famously said during World War II, “Keep calm and carry on.” In other words, keep the faith.
