Are You Ready for the Rebound?

The Coronavirus has caused major disruption to the stock market, collegiate and professional sports, business meetings, personal travel, and just about everything else that drives the US economy. The expectation is that things will get a lot worse before they get better. The impact is now being felt by small businesses and large corporations alike. Consumers are not spending and businesses are not making capital investments, given the uncertainty of how long this downturn will last and how severe it will be.

Rather than pull back and hunker down to wait for the storm to pass, why not take this time to reassess your marketing and branding positioning? What about your marketing communications brochures? Your website? This is the time to begin preparing for the rebound in the economy and in your business that we all know will come. Even thought we cannot predict when this will occur, we know that eventually the markets will turn; many of the leading economists are predicting that it will come back strong and fast.

The disrupters are working right now on their strategies and tactics that they will employ to get their products and services visibly in front of their customers. Why not have a “rebound plan” laid out that is ready to implement and make sure you come out strong — well ahead of your competitors? With a well-developed plan in the wings, you are assured that any ground that was lost during this slowdown will be recovered — and then some — when that turnaround comes.
