Villing & Company Honored With Eight ADDY Awards
Villing & Company was presented with eight ADDY awards during the Michiana Ad Club’s (MAC) American Advertising Federation (AAF) Awards Program held at Saint Mary’s College on February 12.
The agency netted two gold ADDYs — one for the Ronald McDonald House Charities video under the Broadcast category, and the other for the South Bend Art Museum “Iconic America” campaign under the Campaign Mixed/ Multiple Media category.
In addition to the two gold ADDYs, Villing & Company was awarded with a total of six silver ADDYs. It was the agency’s best showing in recent years. Villing was recognized in the Annual Report category for the Saint Mary’s College ’07 annual report; in the Web site category for the Woodburn Missionary Church Web site; in the Collateral Brochure category for the South Bend Civic Theater 2009 season subscription brochure; and in the Brochure category for the Ironworks brochure. Villing also won two silver awards for their work with the Studebaker Museum — one for the Studebaker endowment campaign series, under the Campaign Single Medium category; and another for the Studebaker endowment campaign kit, under the Campaign Mixed/ Multiple Media category.
The AAF competition is a three-tiered, national competition recognizing excellence in advertising. It is hosted annually by the American Advertising Federation and is the nation’s largest advertising competition. Entrants compete at the local level; winners advance to district and then national-level competition.
MAC is the area’s professional organization for advertising, marketing, communications, public relations and related professions.
