New Branch Expansion Campaign
With expansion in progress and further growth in the forecast, Financial Center tapped Villing+Co to develop an integrated marketing campaign they could use as new branches opened – beginning with the grand opening of their Kokomo, Indiana branch.
Financial Center is a progressive credit union that is continually redefining what a credit union can be. In doing so, their products, services and overall approach are likely new and unfamiliar to communities in which new branches are being opened.
The challenge when entering new markets is to change a community’s mind-set and to draw them away from their current banking scenario. That realization became the genesis for the campaign graphic and theme, “Rethink how you bank.”
The campaign consisted of digital, newspaper and outdoor advertising, PR, grand opening event support and in-branch collateral materials. Following the grand opening, we focused our efforts on raising awareness for the credit union’s Debt Consolidation Loan and Direct Deposit programs. For that, we developed promotional posters, handouts, display ads and in-branch signage.
